My Project
My name is Nick, mom and dad call me Nicholas. I am currently a Life scout and am working towards my rank of Eagle Scout. One of my requirements is to lead a project from start to finish in which to benefit my community. The project I chose was to build dugouts for one of the baseball fields. The field I chose has no dugouts and only has benches. (see photo to the left) During the heat of summer, it can get pretty hot on this field. Although I don't play on this field now, I play at the high school with a better field and better dugouts. As my parks and rec department director told me "Dugouts would go a long way to improving this field #2." Those of you who know me, know that my passion is Baseball. I figured this would be a cool project for my community, I am excited about doing this project.

The cost of my project is approximately $5000. All funds need to be raised by me through fundraising activities and or donations. Construction of the dugouts will be done by myself, fellow scouts and friends.
Once all the funds are obtained, I'll begin construction on my project. Feel free and email me any suggestions and or general comments. I will be posting updates to this site on my progress. Thank you all
